To preserve the structure and softness, wool should ideally not be washed! Wool is dirt-repellent, odourless and regenerates through airing. If the wool fleece is heavily soiled, you should neither moisten nor rub the stain, but rather let the affected area dry completely before brushing it out with a special brush for wool.
