A cozy beanbag, a new rug, and lovely hot air balloon mobiles as eye-catchers quickly create an enchanting oasis of well-being. Of course, the popular stacking stones shouldn't be missing for fun and movement! And for practical storage, a cheerfully colorful storage basket ensures tidiness – beautiful and functional at the same time.
Linda and Marco approached us with the wish to design a loving and harmonious baby room. Here, we reveal what we paid particular attention to during the design process – and how you can easily recreate the look at home with our products.
In the new nursery, everything needed for the initial setup finds its place: a lovingly designed changing area, a safe sleeping space, and a cozy retreat for relaxed breastfeeding or bottle-feeding moments.
As Linda and Marco were expecting a boy, they wished for a bright, modern nursery in Boho style – with soft green tones and a natural, harmonious atmosphere.
Our interior designer Jenny developed a coherent concept with them that perfectly matched their wishes.

For the nursery's decor, soft green tones were combined with warm earth colors – creating a natural, calm, and harmonious ambiance. Various accessories such as pillows, mobiles, and canopies in natural, high-quality materials provide a relaxed and beautiful boho vibe that gives the room a cozy and pleasant atmosphere. For the nursery wall color, we chose Elephant's Breath 229 from Farrow & Ball. The eco-friendly, water-based paints from Farrow & Ball are perfect for a nursery. The color supports the desired boho style while also appearing very neutral and natural.

The beautiful nursing chair and rocking chair from Quax has been given a prominent spot by the window with a view. It is comfortable for breastfeeding or bottle-feeding. At the same time, parents can enjoy the view of nature and rock the baby to sleep.
The Cam Cam Copenhagen Harlequin shelf above the changing table is practical for storing decorations, clothes, or the first books. The hooks are great for hanging baby clothes and for decorating.
For decoration and accessories, we chose subtle green and earthy tones, some with delicate, playful nature prints, which support the boho flair and, thanks to their delicate colors, still leave plenty of room for what is important.
With subtle light sources, the room becomes a cozy retreat. The Mr. Maria Star Light Lamp in bear shape provides soft light and accompanies Lio to sleep.

You’ve had your first child and have settled in well. How has parenthood changed your life?
It definitely turns life upside down - but in a positive way! Everyday life at home is completely new, but so much more varied and intense. Our little treasure is now the new center of our lives. For me as a singer and presenter, and also for us as a couple, it’s important that we can still pursue our professions and passions. So I'm already back on stage regularly.
During pregnancy, many questions arise, and there’s a lot to organize, first and foremost furnishing the nursery. How did you experience this, and what did you like best about it?
It was wonderfully beautiful and exciting; all the anticipation builds with the furnishing of the nursery. It was important to us to see with a mood board what the room would ultimately look like and how it could be changed later when the baby is older. I am very perfectionistic, so I also wanted everything to be color-coordinated. I had an idea in my head, and now I have furnished exactly such a beautiful room for Lio - together with MY SNOWFLAKE. We are incredibly happy.

That came from the advice and inspiration at the MY SNOWFLAKE store. Since I really like consistency, we found it sensible to use as much as possible from the same brand.
