Delivery and Shipping Costs
3.1. Products will be provided or delivered, whenever possible, within the specified delivery times, which are indicative. If an order cannot be fulfilled, in whole or in part, the customer will be informed of the unavailability. Temporarily out-of-stock products will be reserved for the customer; the customer's order remains valid. SNOWFLAKE will inform the customer of any delivery delay. Delivery delays of up to two months beyond the specified delivery period do not entitle the customer to refuse acceptance of the ordered items, cancel the contract, claim damages, or demand a refund of the purchase price.
SNOWFLAKE points out that all products in the online shop and in the physical store are only available in commercial quantities. In the case of larger pieces of furniture, these may not necessarily be immediately available and may require a minimum order time. SNOWFLAKE only delivers to customers and addresses in Switzerland and Liechtenstein.
3.2. SNOWFLAKE offers furniture shipping with a forwarding agent or our external partner for a flat rate of CHF 100.- in Switzerland and Liechtenstein. The flat rate for furniture shipping is waived for purchases exceeding CHF 2500.-. Delivery is made directly to the child's room and is charged separately. Take-back and disposal are also possible, SNOWFLAKE can provide a quote for this.
For standard shipping (excl. furniture) to Switzerland and Liechtenstein, the following applies:
Items up to 30kg are generally shipped via Swiss Post Priority. The customer's shipping cost share for this standard shipping is CHF 9.- for a sales price of up to CHF 150.–; furthermore, there is the option of Swiss Post Economy for CHF 7.-, which results in a longer delivery time. In general, no shipping costs apply for a sales value over CHF 150.-. Excluded are items that fall under bulky goods, for which a shipping cost share of CHF 19.- is charged. Mattresses from a size of 90x200 are charged with a flat rate shipping fee of CHF 49.-. During the checkout process, the customer will be informed that it is a bulky item.
3.3 Deviations from this are possible, especially if it concerns furniture or a special size. SNOWFLAKE will separately notify the customer of different formats with price indications.
3.4 Furniture (shipping only to Switzerland and Liechtenstein) is excluded from standard shipping (Swiss Post Priority or Swiss Post Economy), however, there are some items that SNOWFLAKE can still ship. Regardless of the sales value, separate shipping costs apply here, which can be inquired about during checkout or at info@kaufhaus-ackerlo.shop or by phone at +41 (0) 44 342 11 44. The total shipping costs are borne by the customer.
3.5 SNOWFLAKE delivers furniture items weighing 30kg or more directly or through a commissioned forwarding agent throughout Switzerland and Liechtenstein for a flat rate of CHF 100.-. The flat rate for furniture shipping is waived for purchases exceeding CHF 2500.-. Delivery is made directly to the child's room and is charged separately. SNOWFLAKE will arrange a delivery date with the customer and, if desired and subject to special circumstances, the commissioned forwarding agents will carry the furniture to the child's room for the customer. Should the customer additionally wish for assembly, this can be arranged with SNOWFLAKE. SNOWFLAKE will have an offer submitted to the customer for this. SNOWFLAKE has been working with an experienced and professional delivery & assembly service for several years. The costs for this will be charged separately to the customer by this service. SNOWFLAKE acts here only as an intermediary and assumes no liability for any damages for the delivery and assembly of the goods.
3.6 In the case of mixed orders of furniture and other items, SNOWFLAKE will deliver all items together with the furniture delivery to the customer. Shipping costs are borne by the customer and are based on the costs of furniture shipping.
3.7 Transport damages must be reported immediately, but no later than within three working days of delivery. If the goods show external damage (packaging), the customer must note "subject to reservation" or a detailed written description of the damage on the delivery note. If the customer or recipient of the goods detects damage to the goods that is attributable to the delivery, the customer is entitled to refuse acceptance of the goods and to note "transport damage" on the delivery note. If the customer detects damage to the goods after receipt and unpacking, they must immediately, but no later than within three working days, send a complaint including photos of the damaged part(s) to info@kaufhaus-ackerlo.shop or by letter to SNOWFLAKE Lifestyle AG, Allmendstrasse 153, CH-8041 Zurich.

3.9 SNOWFLAKE also offers customers the option of self-collection; items can be picked up at the physical store at Allmendstrasse 153 in CH-8041 Zurich, Switzerland, and furniture can be picked up at the warehouse opposite at Spinnereiplatz 3 (there is an access barrier, the code will be provided upon contact); no additional costs will be charged to customers for this.
3.10 Parking spaces are available to customers at the physical store. Furniture collection at the warehouse is possible by appointment during opening hours or by arrangement.
8. Warranty for defects and revocation
8.1 Warranty
In the event of manufacturing or material defects in the product purchased by the customer, SNOWFLAKE's warranty is limited to taking back the product, exchanging it, or refunding the purchase price, provided that the customer complies with the following conditions and deadlines. SNOWFLAKE is entitled to choose whether to provide a replacement or carry out a repair.
8.2 Right of Withdrawal
Regardless of product complaints, the customer, if considered a consumer under Swiss law, has the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days of receiving the goods and return the product to SNOWFLAKE for exchange or a refund of the purchase price.
For sale items (reduced goods), a shortened right of withdrawal of 7 days from receipt of the goods applies.
Excluded from the right of withdrawal are furniture, strollers, child car seats, wallpapers, paints, specially marked products, display items, and special orders (in particular products ordered or personalized at the specific request of the customer).
The right of withdrawal for contracts concluded by telephone applies exclusively within the scope of Art. 40a et seq. of the Swiss Code of Obligations and does not establish any further rights.
8.3 Return Costs
For returns, the customer bears all costs incurred by the return, in particular shipping and any return costs.
8.4 Return Process and Return Period
To return a product, the customer must first inform SNOWFLAKE by email at info@kaufhaus-ackerlo.shop or by telephone at +41 (0) 44 342 11 44, stating the order number, item, and reason for return. If contact is not made in time, SNOWFLAKE is entitled to refuse the return.
The goods must be returned immediately and in any case

for regular items, within 14 days of receipt of the goods,

for sale items, within 7 days of receipt of the goods,
in perfect, undamaged, and original packaging to
SNOWFLAKE, Spinnereiplatz 3, CH-8041 Zurich. Otherwise, the right of return expires.
SNOWFLAKE is entitled to refuse reimbursement until the goods have been received back by SNOWFLAKE or proof of return has been provided.
8.5 Special orders (in particular products ordered or personalized at the specific request of the customer, e.g., specific color or material choices) can be cancelled no later than 7 days after the order date. Once the goods have been received, returns of such products are excluded.
8.6 SNOWFLAKE assumes no liability or grants no right of return for self-inflicted defects due to improper self-assembly by the customer of furniture and/or other goods purchased from SNOWFLAKE.
8.7 Consequences of Withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse you for all payments we have received from you, including delivery costs (with the exception of additional costs resulting from your choice of a delivery method other than the cheapest standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and at the latest within 14 days from the day on which we received notification of your withdrawal from this contract.
For this repayment, we will use the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you; in no case will you be charged any fees for this repayment.
We may refuse repayment until we have received the goods back or until you have provided proof that you have returned the goods, whichever is the earlier.
You must return or hand over the goods immediately and in any case no later than
– within 14 days of receipt of the goods,
– for sale items, within 7 days of receipt of the goods,
to SNOWFLAKE, Spinnereiplatz 3, CH-8041 Zurich, Switzerland. The deadline is met if the goods are dispatched before the expiry of the applicable period.
